A Christian Response to the Southern Invasion

The Federal Government insists on destroying our country by opening our borders and inviting the world to

consume us as a nation. The “Federal” government is working for the globalists at Davos and not for the American people. As the Feds cut the wire at the border to encourage the invasion, I am left wondering what I can do to stop it. I may not have access to the levers of power in DC, but I am still a disciple of the King of kings and the Lord of lords who has received all authority in Heaven and on Earth. How do I exercise this authority in regard to the Southern invasion?

What if, while the feds remove razor wire, the church laid down nets, not just for immigrants but for the treasonous members of the border patrol who do the work of our enemies? And I don't mean physical nets but spiritual. What if we took prayer and evangelism seriously again?

Jesus said, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you'll find something.” John 21:6

Here is where our concept of “the Gospel” is so crucial. We will never have success if we march down to the border and threaten everyone who does evil with Hell. That isn't the Gospel. What we need to realize is that everyone at the border has already put their faith in a messiah, just the wrong one. And their wrong messiahs are creating Hell for everyone.

A “Messiah” is your deliverer, the solution to your problems. Why does a border agent work against his own country? Because of his paycheck, his messiah. Why do illegal immigrants come to the southern border? Some come for a better life, in which case America and its economy are their “messiah.” Others come

across the border to make war with us because communism or Allah is their Messiah. We need the world to see that these false messiahs will do nothing for anyone except kill, steal, and destroy. Our Gospel consists of Truth, compassion, grace, and generosity. If all these pagans are flooding into our “Christian” country, let's hit them with everything we've got! Let's unleash the love of Christ on them! Jesus called us to the nations, and we didn't go, so now they are coming here.

The border situation is evil and not desired. But if God has allowed it because of our rebellion as a nation, the best way to respond is through obedience to the Gospel. We have a mandate to disciple the world, and we have woefully neglected that mandate. Now the undiscipled world is coming into our house, and our wayward American children, who have seized our national power, are inviting them in to wreak havoc.  The way to respond is to repent and do the deeds we did at first.

Therefore, remember from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and I will remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.  Revelation 2:5 NASB

For many of us, this repentance must begin with our own discipleship. The first disciple we must make is ourselves. We must submit to the Lordship of Jesus in every area. Only as we walk in true freedom can we begin to teach others to do the same. And only then will we become again “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

We need to close the border, one hundred

percent. But if our hands are tied, we can still close the border spiritually. This is our Christian country so let’s prove it by being Christians as boldly as possible. May we say with Joseph who was sold into slavery,

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20 NIV
