She was an editor of a magazine for Chinese Christians. Sarah was beaten and tortured for her faith, spending six years in prison, but she did not collapse under the pressure. Since her childhood as an Ethiopian Refugee living in Sudan, Miriam Ibraheem has identified as a Christian. But since Miriam's father was Muslim, the Islamic government of Sudan would only consider her a Muslim. Miriam experienced severe abuse and trauma throughout her life, including forced female circumcision...twice. Eventually, Miriam would be sentenced to one hundred lashes with the whip and death by hanging because she would not submit to Allah. BUT GOD, the True and Living God, delivered Miriam. Today, Miriam walks boldly and faithfully with Jesus and has great hope for her future. You can be healed of past traumas and have hope for your future too.
