Kids hate it when their parents only see doom and gloom. We may feel like our cynicism is wise, but it may be more damaging to our kids than we realize. If we believed God promised us better days are ahead, it would help us present more hope to our children. While there are many charlatans in the world, I believe that God does grant a real gift of prophecy to sum. Not too long ago, I thought that God spoke directly to me, and what He said is very hopeful for us all. Even if you reject the word that God might have expressed to me, I can guarantee that I know four other things God is speaking to us all right now.
